Her Spanish getaway comes not long after Eva quipped that Desperate Housewives couldn’t be made today due to its “shocking” content.
The 48-year-old actress played Gabrielle Solis on the show from 2004 until 2012 and was embroiled in some of its biggest storylines.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Eva explained: “I don’t know if we could do the show today. I think we’d get cancelled.
“I mean, not cancelled on TV but like cancelled in culture because it was so groundbreaking and we said and did so many things that were shocking at the time.”
Eva shot to fame through her portrayal of Isabella Braña on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless from 2001 to 2003.
It was then that she nabbed her career-making role as Gabrielle on Desperate Housewives, where she starred for the entirety of the eight series.
She starred alongside Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross on the show.
