Gosling on Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes, 49, has revealed she doesn’t allow her and Ryan Gosling’s daughters on the internet.

The couple, who got together in 2011 after starring as lovers in The Place Beyond the Pines, share Esmeralda, eight, and Amada, seven.

While some children may be allowed a device with internet at those ages, it’s a strong no in the Gosling household.

Taking to Instagram, Hitch actress Eva shared a funny meme of herself shaking her head and waving her finger demonstrating a passionate “no”.

Alongside the clip she wrote: “When my kids ask me if they’re old enough to go on the internet, social media or anything requiring wifi.”

Another not so in favour of the method wrote: “We are in the internet century so eventually everyone will need or want to access the internet.”

Eva bit back, writing: “Yes true, but in my house, children do not have access to the internet. It’s too dangerous.

“Just like drinking or voting or getting a driver’s license (etc…) isn’t allowed for children, the internet falls under that category for me. Especially social media.”

Last month, the actress said she was prepared to be bored with her kids during the summer holidays, but her plan backfired.

Speaking on new social network app Threads, the actress spilled: “This summer was supposed to be easy – I was like bring boredom back.

“But you know things happen and the kids want to do certain classes and things, so now I am just a chauffeur, like a water girl.”

Appearing a little exasperated in the clip, she continued: “It’s hot, so you know, I just bring them water.”

Just yesterday, Eva also shared another relatable meme of a woman looking stressed before exiting a room.

She commented: “Me at the end of my week after mommy-ing hard during a heatwave.”
