Fergie, 63, celebrates her ‘sexiest year yet’ in inspiring International Women’s Day post

Sarah Ferguson has shared an inspirational post to social media to mark International Women’s Day today, Wednesday 8 March.

The Duchess of York, 63, boasts an impressive 486,000 Instagram followers, and took to her page to encourage her fans to “follow your hearts”.

Alongside a photograph of herself, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew wrote: “Happy International Women's Day! 63 feels like my sexiest year yet. I'm a mum to two amazing girls, a proud granny (with one on the way!) and I am just getting started in my new career as an author. The process of becoming is beautiful.”

Fergie added: “Today and always, let’s remember to follow our hearts.”

People have since gushed over the glowing photograph of Fergie as others wished her a happy International Women’s Day.

“You are stunning,” penned one fan, as someone else said: “Happy International Women's Day to you and your girls”.

“True – I feel my best years are ahead of me, not behind me,” wrote someone else in regards to Fergie's remark about her 63rd year being her “sexiest yet”.

Echoing similar sentiments, another added: “Love this, such a wonderful example of how women are always in the prime of their lives no matter what their age!”

Sarah’s youngest daughter Princess Eugenie, 32, who is currently expecting her second child, also took to Instagram to mark International Women’s Day, and shared a snap of her with her mum and her sister, Princess Beatrice, 34.

“Happy International Women's Day,” she wrote alongside a pair of photos of the trio with a beautiful, snowy backdrop.

“I'm so lucky to have my mum and sister as two incredible women in my life. Beabea, Mumma so proud of you!”

Sarah recently released her second book, titled A Most Intriguing Lady, yesterday, 7 March, in the US, with the novel set to hit shelves in the UK later this month.

Gushing over her mother, Eugenie shared a photo of the 63 year old to her Instagram Story of Sarah posing behind her new book.

Ever the proud daughter, Eugenie wrote alongside it: “My beautiful Mumma wrote her second book and it’s International Women’s Day and she’s so cool..”
