Gary Barlow’s rarely-seen son, 23, towers over him during getaway after Robbie doc fallout

Take That star Gary Barlow was spotted getting away from it all and enjoying a family vacation out under the Italian sunshine of Venice.

The 52 year old singer was seen taking a stroll with his rarely-seen son, Daniel Barlow, 23, who towers above his 5ft 8in father, standing at 6ft 2in tall. Daniel's girlfriend was also with them as they took in the sights of the old historical city with a few selfie snaps along the way.

The gang enjoyed their little sightseeing trip before meeting up with Gary's wife Dawn Andrews, 53, to enjoy a spot fine Italian dining. The relaxing meal was no doubt just what the doctor ordered after Dawn was spotted sporting an injury – reportedly a broken wrist – that required a sling.

Gary married Dawn in 2000 and as well as Daniel, they also have two daughters – Emily, 21 and Daisy, 14.

The former popstar looked relaxed wearing a relaxed cream t-shirt, a pair of white linen trousers and comfortable trainers, whereas handsome Daniel added some colour with a yellow-hued shirt, shorts and cool Harry Potter-inspired glasses.

The pair had clearly been enjoying a spot of shopping while sightseeing too as Daniel carried the goodies – including a Gucci bag – while Gary took care of the family snaps. He enjoyed taking selfies, as well as perfecting the best angles for Daniel and his girlfriend, before proudly calling them over to have a look afterwards.

Daniel's girlfriend looked pretty in dark pink alongside a green skirt and trainers while wrapping her arms around her beau at the meal.

Gary must have enjoyed Venice so much last month when he visited with just Dawn that he decided to come back with some other family members. The Barlows love their Italian holidays, though.

The whole family flew to Tremezzo, on Lake Como, for Dawn's 50th birthday after lockdown eased in 2020.

Gary's trip away will likely be a welcomed break at a time when he's firmly back in the limelight thanks to former bandmate Robbie Williams new Netflix documentary.

In the show Robbie Williams has openly admitted to feeling "vengeful" towards his former Take That bandmate. In his self-titled Netflix documentary, Robbie didn't hold back, expressing his dislike for Gary and sparking fears of another fallout between the two.

The pair had a well-known feud during their time in Take That, which peaked when Robbie was forced to leave the band in 1996 due to his behaviour and struggles with alcoholism. Robbie, who was just 21 at the time, was quite outspoken about his feelings towards Gary, even calling him a "clueless w****r" and criticising the group's creativity.
