AceShowbizGeorge Lopez‘s Chingon Kitchen has turned into a car crash site. A pickup truck smashed into the comedian’s restaurant on Tuesday, July 6, leaving behind a huge mess with multiple injuries.

Per TMZ’s report, law enforcement sources spill that a driver ran a stop sign outside The Brews Hall in Torrance, CA and hit another car before it spun out of control, sending it crashing into George’s joint.

Four people were injured in the accident, including drivers of the two cars as well as a passenger and a pedestrian. All four victims were taken to a local hospital, but thankfully their injuries were described as moderate. No one inside the restaurant was hurt.

As to how the car crash impacted George’s restaurant, photos obtained by TMZ show there’s a lot of broken glass, busted frames and smashed-up storage racks from where the car crashed into the front entrance. While it would require a clean-up job, it apparently won’t affect business. It is said that the building was not red-tagged and the restaurant will remain open.

George has not addressed the accident on his social media accounts. The former “Lopez Tonight: host, instead, took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, July 6 to promote the new episode of his “OMG HI with George Lopez” podcast.

“EPISODE 19!! KICKING BACK WITH THE FELLAS AFTER BEING IN THE HOUSE FOR DAYS,” he wrote on the photo-sharing app along with a clip from the newest episode. “DOWNTIME IS ALWAYS GOOD, BUT I THINK WE ALL HAD ENOUGH OF THAT IN 2020!! BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN FOR EPISODE 19!!”

George’s Chingon Kitchen is a joint venture with several investors, including Colin Cowherd. The restaurant takes pride in its authentic Mexican cuisine based off of George’s grandmother’s traditional recipes.
