Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan jokingly branded herself an “idiot” as she took her daughters shopping after being mum shamed over their school shoes.
The actress, 33, had spent the day shopping at the Trafford Centre in Manchester, and let her kids roam around on their scooters.
Helen shared a short video to her Instagram Story of daughter Delilah on her scooter smiling for the camera as they walked around the shopping centre. Helen was seen looking stunning in a white top with her hair styled in a sweet bun.
She captioned the video: “What idiot let’s their kids out on skooters at the @thetraffordcentre”.
In her next snap she shared a short clip of her daughter Matilda facing her fears and touching a starfish at the aquatics section. Being a supportive mum, Helen told her daughter she was being “brave” and “strong” as she held her hand in the water.
Helen shares three children with her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair, including seven year old Matilda, five year old Delilah and two year old Charlie.
Helen's spot of shopping follows after she was mum shamed after revealing where she buys kids' school shoes.
The former Coronation Street actress took to her Instagram stories and opened up about the perils of parenthood and the busyness of life with school-age children. She said: “So for once I’m actually organised for back to school. Wish I actually looked so calm and put together for the school run x.
"Picked up the perfect going to back to school shoes for my girls from @schuh that they both love. ( can’t cope with how cute Delilah looks on pic 3… how is she not going into reception and into year one)," the star continued.
"I always buy my kids shoes from @schuh #wewearschuh #AD," she added, but some followers couldn't believe that Helen had opted to spend £149 collectively.
Annoyed that Helen may have been advertising shoes that were actually gifted to her due to her "ad" addition on the post, people complained in the comments.
"You're organised because it’s been gifted," one person wrote.
"Literally using your kids to shill, absolutely shameless behaviour," another said. "No doubt to pay for some more lip fillers or some other nonsense for your continuing quest to be somebody."
