Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter’s fans convinced she’s having baby girl after telling video

Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter may have just hinted that she’s having a baby girl after she was spotted shopping for pink clothing items.

The expectant mother, 34, shared a snap of her doing some shopping on Tuesday 23 August, where she browsed for baby clothes.

Jorgie browsed a section of the store with lots of pink clothing and stereotypical girly items, before going on to look at cribs and other toys.

“If you saw my stories yesterday you would’ve seen that I went shopping for all things baby and came back with nothing,” the soap star wrote alongside the clip.

“I went from being so excited to feeling completely overwhelmed (see the end of the reel) Did anyone else feel this way?

“Who knew there were so many things to consider and so many options and variations of literally everything”.

She added: “I really appreciated all your suggestions on stories soooooo…”

Jorgie then asked her 717,000 Instagram followers to tell her the items they “couldn’t live without” when they welcomed their first child.

Jorgie is expecting her first child with fiancé Ollie Piotrowski, whom she got engaged to in December 2021.

Their pregnancy joy comes after the star’s heartbreaking miscarriage with quadruplets last year.

She discovered the devastating news at a scan when it was revealed that there were no signs of life in the embryo sacs at around 14 weeks into the pregnancy.

In a chat with The Sun's Fabulous Magazine, Jorgie said: "I’d not had any sign that things weren’t OK. No pain or bleeding, I was getting bigger, my boobs were growing, I had so much hair on my body and I still felt pregnant.

"When the consultant performed the scan then said: ‘You’ve miscarried,’ I was in total shock.”

Prior to miscarriage, Jorgie had spoken about wanting to start a family with Ollie and how she was using his son as “training” for motherhood.

She told us: "My boyfriend has a son so I’m having to take on step-mum duties, playing football in the garden," before adding that being a step-mum is her "training".

"Having to have a tea ready on time at a certain time, it’s not just about my thoughts anymore, I want a family so this is my training," she shared.

"I really hope to have a family, especially now I’ve found the one,” Jorgie added.
