Treat Williams shares final video before his death
Hollywood actor Treat Williams has sadly died at the age of 71, following a tragic motorcycle crash in Vermont.
Hours before he died, the star shared one final post – a video of an open field.
The incident occurred on Route 30 near Dorset, Vermont, at approximately 5pm, involving Williams’ motorcycle and a single car whose driver failed to notice the turning bike.
Jacob Gribble, the fire chief for Dorset, confirmed that Williams was the sole individual injured in the crash and was subsequently airlifted to a New York hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The death of Williams, known for his remarkable stage and screen presence, has left the entertainment world and his fans in mourning.
Just hours before his tragic death, Williams took to Instagram to share a poignant video of an open field with his 33,700 followers.
The camera panned around a serene countryside scene, accompanied by the sound of the wind. Captioning the post with “Hay day,” the actor offered fans a final glimpse into his world.
Devastated fans flooded the comments section to express their condolences and pay tribute to the beloved star.

One commented: “I am devastated by this news… Truly devastated. What a sweet man. My heart goes out to his family.”
Another wrote: “Just five hours ago, you were sharing your beautiful home with us, and now we have lost you. Sending love to your loved ones. Godspeed.”
Williams’ agent of 15 years, Barry McPherson, has released a statement confirming the actor’s death.
It read: “He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off. I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.

“He was an actor’s actor. Filmmakers loved him. He’s been the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s.
“He was really proud of his performance this year. He’s been so happy with the work that I got him. He’s had a balanced career.”
Williams began his acting career portraying Danny Zuko in the stage production of Grease from 1972 to 1980 – and has since established himself as a versatile and accomplished actor throughout his 48-year career.
He is survived by his wife Pam Van Sant and their two children.
