I’m A Celeb bosses ‘want Georgia Harrison in the jungle’: ‘She’s brilliant’

She’s no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on TOWIE, Love Island and The Challenge, and now Georgia Harrison could be adding I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to the list, following the success of her revenge porn documentary.

“I’m A Celebrity bosses are eyeing up Georgia for the next series,” a source has told us. “ITV has been blown away by the response to her documentary and thinks she would be great in the jungle.

“Georgia is a brilliant personality. She’s a natural and comes across really well on screen. She threw herself into the tasks on The Challenge, so she’d definitely be up for the Bushtucker Trials.”

The news comes after Georgia, 28, fronted Revenge Porn: Georgia Vs Bear, in which she spoke out about her horror after her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear uploaded an intimate video online without her consent.

In the documentary, which aired last month, she explained how her life “changed forever” and shared her relief after Bear, 33, was sentenced to 21 months behind bars.

“A lot of viewers are used to seeing Georgia being fun and playful on reality shows, but this showed a more serious side to her,” our source added. “It was a very brave and powerful documentary.”

Georgia wouldn’t be the first Islander to head to Oz, as her best friend Olivia Attwood took part in I’m A Celebrity last year.

However, Olivia’s stint was brief as the 31-year-old was forced to leave the show after medical concerns following a blood test.

In support of her pal, Georgia said at the time, “She had so much airtime in the first episode, she was anticipated to be one of the best campmates.

"She was what everybody was tuning in to watch. I reckon she might be upset for a bit, but I don’t think it’s the last opportunity she’ll have on I’m A Celeb. She will be back another time.”

Georgia first rose to fame in 2014 when she joined the cast of TOWIE. She returned to screens in 2017, appearing on the third series of Love Island, where she coupled up with Sam Gowland.

Two years later, she took part in MTV’s The Challenge, where contestants compete against each other in extreme physical tests. Previously opening up about the show – which was where she met her ex, Bear – Georgia revealed she almost died, saying, “My organs were failing from dehydration and I had severe heatstroke.”
