Sophie Turner said she is desperate to move back to the U.K for her ‘mental health’ in a resurfaced interview, after reports emerged her marriage with Joe Jonas is on the rocks.
The Game Of Thrones actress, 27, and the singer, 34, are said to be preparing for divorce four years after tying the knot.
And Sophie seemingly hinted at tensions about where the couple wanted to be permanently based in an interview with Elle last year, where she admitted Joe was reluctant to relocate to England.
The actress, who was born in Northampton and grew up near Leamington Spa, said she was desperate to be back with her family and for their children to have a similar education to what she had.
She told the publication: ‘I miss England so much. The people, the attitude, everything. I’m slowly dragging my husband back.

‘I really love living in America but, for my mental health, I have to be around my friends and my family. And also for my daughter – I would love her to get the education and school life that I was so lucky to have.
‘England would ideally be the final destination, but [Joe] might take quite a bit of convincing! My parent’s house is the epitome of the English countryside – horses, sheep, cows..’
Sophie has spent time in the UK this year filming an ITV drama based on the notorious British jewel thief Joan Hannington.
That has meant Joe has been handling solo parenting their two young daughters – even as he tours with his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas as The Jonas Brothers.
Sophie said moving back to England was important for her mental health, which she has suffered with during her rise to fame.
The actress, who made her debut as Sansa Stark in Game Of Thrones, suffered from an eating disorder ‘for a long time’ and had to have a live-in therapist.
She still regularly goes to therapy and said she still has days where she becomes stress and anxious and turns to her family for support.
Joe and Sophie are yet to comment on their marriage.

They haven’t been spotted together in public for months, and they were apparently photographed together most recently in April when they were seen arriving at an afterparty in London that Jonas was DJing at.
Both Joe and Sophie continued to attend public events as a couple earlier this year, but the musician has been frequently spotted out in public not wearing his wedding ring.
He baffled fans earlier on Saturday when he sported the wedding band again in a snap with his brothers enjoying the Texas sunset.
He didn’t address the rumours about his relationship in the post, simply wishing fans a happy Labor Day weekend and noting how their ongoing tour has been ‘incredible so far.’
He added: ‘Having a little family time in the Texas sunset tonight before a big Austin show tomorrow.’
Joe and Sophie first started dating in 2016 after being introduced by mutual friends and got engaged one year later.
They married two years after their engagement with two ceremonies — the first, a private intimate affair in Las Vegas with a second, grander wedding in Paris – Joe and Sophie appeared to be a perfectly happy couple.
