Is Vanderpump Rules Being Re-Edited To Make Raquel Leviss Look Worse? Lala Kent Reveals The Truth…

Lala Kent wants to make one thing clear to Bravo fans! The show must go on!

As you know, the Vanderpump Rules world was rocked last week when Ariana Madix broke up with Tom Sandoval after nine years of dating after the reveal of his seven-month affair with Raquel Leviss. The 37-year-old reportedly found out about her BF’s infidelity when she discovered an explicit video of the pair on his phone. Since the news broke, a lot of drama has gone down – including some not-so-great apologies from Sandoval, cast members calling each other out, and a restraining order being placed against Scheana Shay after some rather dubious allegations she punched Raquel. It’s been a lot over the past week!

And all of this is going on while season 10 of Vanderpump has been airing. Considering the cameras are rolling once again to make sure the drama is captured for this season, fans couldn’t help but assume the editors have also been going back into the unaired episodes to alter some things in the wake of the Scandoval. After all, when you have a big third act twist, you want to foreshadow it a bit, right?

After seeing the plotline of this week’s episode heavily focused on Raquel’s eyebrow-raising actions with first Tom Schwartz and then Garcelle Beauvais’ married son, viewers wondered if the affair easter eggs were put in after all hell broke loose last week.

Well, according to Lala, that is simply not true!

The 32-year-old television personality hopped on Instagram Stories on Thursday to shut down the rumors that Bravo is re-editing the episodes, telling fans that what they’ve seen — and will see in the future — was Raquel’s storyline all along! Big yikes. Speaking in a video while laying down with her daughter Ocean, she explained:

“I may get in trouble for saying this, but I’m gonna say it anyway. People are talking about how editors of VPR probably went back through and tweaked things to kind of, like, align with what happened. Not true. What you guys are gonna see this season, before we obviously know what we know now, was very much going to be the storyline of hers — not Ocean’s, but homegirl’s, you know who — with or without what just happened the last week.”

Lala then insisted “nothing was re-edited,” adding:

“This was the story. You’re just gonna view it very differently now.”

So it’s all just context? Wow!

She isn’t wrong about how everyone is viewing things! The episodes already didn’t make the 28-year-old look good. So far, viewers have been watching Raquel navigate her interest in Sandoval’s best friend and business partner. Despite the 40-year-old and his ex-wife Katie Maloney having a pact to not date within the friend group, the former pageant queen still has been making moves on Schwartz, and she will eventually hook up with him at Scheana’s wedding later in the season.

Plus, the latest episode saw Raquel making out with Oliver Saunders – who was married at the time. His wife, Samantha Saunders, assured ET on Thursday that they “were together” when the kiss happened:

“I blame him. He was the married man. He chose to lie and cheat. Of course, I’m not happy with Raquel, but no, it’s his fault all this happened! It’s very traumatic for me. We had an amazing marriage and were best friends. He was a great stepdad and dad. Everything changed when he was so desperate for the camera and fame. He truly will do anything. It’s scary and sad.”

And if you thought that situation was bad, there’s more. A preview for the next episode showed Lala telling Raquel she “would never trust” her around “my man” whenever the SUR waitress drinks. And her response? It’s jaw-dropping. Raquel replies:

“Thank God you don’t have a man to, like, f**king have around.”

You know, she could have just responded with something along the lines of “I would never try to do something with your guy since I’m your friend.” However, Raquel doesn’t — and that says A LOT about her!

And of course, we all can expect more drama later on when the Scandoval debacle unfolds on our screens – and whatever else Raquel gets up to this season!
