ITV I’m A Celebrity rangers storm campsite after deadly snake joins celebs

I’m A Celeb: Grace says she ‘wants to go home’

I’m A Celebrity rangers were forced to enter the jungle campsite after a venomous snake made it’s way into camp while the celebrities were fast asleep.

The dangerous creature slithered into camp on Saturday night and made it’s way towards Sam Thompson, who was sleeping at the time.

Thankfully, the eagle-eyed rangers spotted the reptile and swooped into camp and removed it, without waking Sam, 31.

According to reports, the experienced rangers “know exactly when they need to jump into action,” and are constantly monitoring the camp for dangerous creatures.

ITV bosses are keen to keep the crew’s interactions with the celebrities as minimal as possible, so they can carry out the full experience of the show.

The snake’s removal comes after Nigel Farage faced the latest Bushtucker trial in Saturday’s episode.

The ex-politician, 59, pulled a disgusted look on his face as he downed a glass of liquid.

The former UKIP leader battled against boxer Tony Bellew as they were both forced to drink various different disgusting liquid concoctions.

Hosts Ant and Dec were left in fits of giggles as the pair attempted to consume the ghastly beverages.

In the end, it was Tony’s team who were victorious and they were awarded a breakfast of champions which included a full English for the group.

Meanwhile, Nigel was accused of being “desperate” for attention after he revealed he was keen to volunteer for challenges as “it’s 25 per cent of the airtime”.

He is following in the footsteps of former health secretary Matt Hancock who entered the jungle last year and ended up getting all the way to the final before being pipped to the post by Jill Scott.

Nigel got into a heated debate with Nella Rose after she questioned his views about immigration in the UK.

After going back and forth, the pair decided they weren’t going to agree with their views and decided to leave the debate.
