Just a week after tying the knot (for the second time this year!) in a beautiful Spanish ceremony, newlyweds Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have become embroiled in a honeymoon nightmare.
Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie, 34, took to Instagram earlier today to reveal that the duo have been prevented from catching their connection flight from Amsterdam to South America for their romantic trip together.
"This is WILD…" he wrote on his story. "We're flying on our Honeymoon to South America, connecting flight in Amsterdam.
"KLM are delayed but we still have time to make our flight. Without warning, they take us off our connecting flight. . .. So we now have to fly back to London, then fly to Colombia, then fly to Panama and then fly to our Honeymoon destination.
"This is a TOTAL F**K UP THANKS @klm".
Jamie added: "This actually means @sophiahabboo and I will visit 4 different countries in the space of 24 hrs".
The reality star previously took to Instagram to share a snap of wife Sophie on their way to the airport, unbeknownst that the pair had a scheduling nightmare ahead of them.
"And we’re off on our honeymoon!!!" he wrote on the picture of the blonde beauty, 29.
Donning a cream baseball cap, a blue and white T-shirt, a pastel blue tracksuit jacket and her long tresses down and hanging around her face, Sophie looked airport and holiday ready.
The pair, who went from best friends to now husband and wife, have been together since 2019.
The NearlyWeds podcast hosts first got hitched at the Chelsea registry office on the 14th April, before exchanging vows again at a lavish Spanish ceremony in Marbella, where they were surrounded by 200 guests.
Amongst the pair's famous friends were fellow former Made In Chelsea stars Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor, as well as Sam Thompson and Love Island girlfriend Zara McDermott, and Jamie's best pals Spencer Matthews and Oliver Proudlock.
Chelsea stars Ollie Locke, Olivia Bentley, Verity Bowditch were also in attendance, alongside Melissa Tattam, who was one of Sophie's blushing bridesmaids.
After saying "I Do" on 20th May, Sophie and Jamie shared some snaps of the wedding to the Instagram page for their NearlyWeds podcast, which they captioned: "THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES 20.05.23" followed by a ring and heart emoji.
The photos showed off Sophie's glamorous floor-length bridal gown designed by Emma Beaumont, who is known for her bespoke designs and one-of-a-kind dresses inspired by the bride themselves.
