Jane Fonda is reportedly ignoring concerns about her health from friends.

The 85-year-old is said to have been urged to “take it easy” following recent health woes, but an insider alleges she isn’t willing to stop.

They told Radar Online: “We tell Jane she needs to take it easy and rest after all her body has been through but that isn’t Jane’s style.

“She knows she doesn’t have much time left, so she’s pushing harder than ever and working to make the most of her final moments.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Jane Fonda for comment.

Last month, the Grace and Frankie star reportedly struggled as she joined the SAG-AFTRA and WGA members striking outside Netflix’s studios in Los Angeles.

Pictures saw the actress being helped off stage after she apparently overheated.

Earlier in the day, Jane made a speech in support of the strikers and she was also seen walking along the picket line.

Addressing the audience, the actress advocated for the workers and called for a fair workforce with a living wage.

“These workers aren’t asking for that much, I mean come on. They are simply calling for a safe, secure, and respectful workforce with a living wage,” she ranted as part of her speech.

“And the right to organise free from fear, intimidation and coercion,” Jane continued as the crowd cheered.

The Hollywood star has candidly admitted she is “superconscious” about being “close to death” but that the thought didn’t bother her.

Speaking to CBS This Morning last year, Jane added: “What bothers me is that my body is, you know, basically not mine!”

The actress made the comment referring to multiple operations she’s had over the years, including a shoulder replacement.

She added: “My knees are not mine, my hips are not mine, my shoulder’s not mine.”

Pointing towards her neck, Jane laughed: “You’re looking at somebody who’s only me from here up.”

The Oscar-winner has seemingly remained positive about her health despite this.

In the same year, she announced she had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Three months later, she announced her cancer was in remission meaning she could stop chemotherapy treatments.
