AceShowbizJennifer Hudson and Common have been seen publicly hanging out together amid their dating rumors. On Sunday, August 14, a photo has surfaced online showing the two attending a back to school event for the youth in Chicago.

In the picture, the singer/actress and the actor/rapper, who are both from Chicago, looked comfortable around each other. The “Glory” hitmaker is seen casually putting his hand on the EGOT winner’s shoulder while she wrapped her arm around his waist as they posed with people at the event.

This isn’t the first time for J-Hud and Common to be spotted together. The two stars, who are co-starring in upcoming action thriller “Breathe“, were caught on a date in Philadelphia, where they were filming the movie last month.

An eyewitness told Deuxmoi that 40-year-old J-Hud and 50-year-old Common were “cozy and flirty” during the intimate dinner at Vedge restaurant. The informant shared there were “lot of cuddling and giggling,” as a photo published by the outlet showed the pair smiling from ear to ear.

J-Hud was previously in a relationship with David Otunga following her split from her longtime boyfriend James Peyton. She became engaged to the professional wrestler in 2008 and gave birth to their first child together, a son named David Daniel Otunga Jr., in August 2009. In November 2017, however, they called off their engagement. The former “American Idol” contestant has not been known in any public relationship since calling it quits with her former fiance.

As for Common, he last dated Tiffany Haddish. They started dating in 2019 after starring in movie “The Kitchen” and moved in together during the quarantine, but the pair called it quits after over a year of romance.

In December last year, Common admitted that their relationship ended because of their lack of efforts to continue nurturing their feelings. “I don’t think the love really dispersed. I think it was just like we weren’t feeding the relationship,” he told Hollywood Unlocked.

The “Southside” rhymer went on sharing in the new interview that he found it tough to keep their sparks alive while focusing on his career. “It was harder for me to balance all of that and keep the relationship fed,” so he said.
