Brittny Ward has slammed British Airways as she claimed their business class seats were “inoperable”, causing “mega damage” to her Birkin bag.

The model, 33, who is married to Jenson Button and resides in California with the racing driver, complained her luxurious bag will now lose thousands of pounds.

Sharing a photo of a Birkin handbag that is currently on sale for almost $23,000 she claimed that her bag’s value had plummeted since the incident.

The mum-of-two took to her Instagram Stories today, in view of her 291,000 followers, and detailed the ordeal, saying: “@British_Airways your inoperable business class seat smashed/scratched my Birkin and caused mega damage causing the value to plummet it!

She added: “Looking at prices now I’m pretty p**sed. Shouldn’t there be insurance for this?”

The luxury bag is a timeless piece and has been sported by a number of famous faces from Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Cardi B.

Since retiring from F1 in 2017, Jenson tied the knot with his second wife Brittny, and the couple share two children together, Hendrix and Lenny.

The Somerset-born driver opened up about his family life since they moved stateside.

“We have been renovating two houses, one in Palm Springs and then another one where we are going to live, so it’s been pretty hectic,” he explained to HELLO!
