When we look up the word “slay” in the dictionary, we fully expect the photos from country singer Jessie James Decker’s fashion show to be front and center.
The 34-year-old took a trip down to the Sunshine State for Miami Fashion Week to showcase her new designs for Kittenish. Of course, Jessie had a lineup of stunning models to walk the runway, but when you’re anything like the “Should Have Known Better” singer, you aren’t afraid to strut the runway yourself.
Jessie shared special snapshots and footage from the show on Instagram with the caption: “Beaming with sunshine after last night😻☀️🌴🥰 I was so nervous to walk but all the girls made me feel so confident! That’s what its all about💪👯♀️ @kittenish 😻”

Jessie’s husband, Eric and their three children were backstage to cheer her on during her special moment. To no one’s surprise, fans bombarded Jessie’s comment section with the absolute sweetest messages like:

While Jessie’s confidence totally dominated the runway, the country singer has also been extremely transparent with fans that she too struggles with body image and mental health. She got super vulnerable and made it clear with a lengthy post on Instagram that she often goes through a cycle of “being obsessed with working out and being muscular and thin to just giving up and gaining.”
She’s felt that she often has to prove herself as a country artist to be reckoned with and not just a TV personality. She penned, “As a women in 2022, I don’t understand why I can’t have a family, publish books, own a fashion brand, be an influencer, and do TV without being questioned if I take my music career seriously just because I’ve chosen to dream big.”
We couldn’t agree more with Jessie and as a multi-talented star, mother and wife, we think she’s not only a stunning runway model, but also a stellar role model.
