Jesy Nelson worries fans as she appears to wade into Schofield affair news

Phil Schofield admits relationship with ‘younger male colleague’

Jesy Nelson got cryptic in view of her 9.6 million Instagram followers.

The Little Mix singer blasted “this industry… full of fakes” on her Story.

The 31-year-old spoke out against those who “tear people down” before they jump on the “be kind bandwagon”.

Her social media post came shortly after Phillip Schofield, 61, announced he’d had an affair with a younger male colleague and was quitting ITV.

After his statement, the hitmaker addressed the “sad” industry, seemingly worrying fans.

Jesy stated: “This industry is so sad. Full of fakes full of people who can’t wait to tear people down and stand on their high horse and blast it all over the news.

“It’s not until something drastic happens that then everyone wants to jump on a band wagon of BE KIND.”(sic)

“What a sad sad world we live in,” she added.

The star followed this up with a snap of herself in bed, with her eyes shut and thumbs up.

Jesy captioned it: “Btw guys I’m absolutely fine just expressing how I feel.

Phillip had previously informed fans: “I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning.

“Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over.”

He continued: “… I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family.

“I am so very, very sorry, as I am for having been unfaithful to my wife.”

A spokesperson for ITV said the broadcaster was “deeply disappointed” by the “admissions of deceit” made by him.

Today they followed up by saying they investigated “rumours of a relationship” between Phillip and an ITV employee around three years ago, but claim both parties “repeatedly denied” it.
