Judi Love rejects Im A Celeb rumours: I’d need hypnotherapy before I’d agree!

While Judi Love would be sensational in this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, the Loose Women host has shut down the rumours and says she would need "hypnotherapy sessions" before signing up for the show.

She wrote in her OK! column: "With all the rumours circulating about the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity, I’ve been getting so many messages asking me to take part.

"I’m all for trying new things, but I’d need a lot of hypnotherapy sessions before I agree to that!" she laughed.

Comedian Judi, 42, continued: "I’m most excited about the fact that the show is moving back to Australia after all this time – it’s going to be so much fun seeing how the contestants handle the spiders, crocodiles and creepy crawlies!

"I feel like the Aussie climate might tempt more celebs to take part this year, so I can’t wait for the cast list to be announced!"

Celebrities will be undertaking Bushtucker trials in Australia for the first time in two years, with contestants being forced to set up camp at Gwrych Castle in Wales for the past two seasons.

Danny Dyer, The Vivienne, and Chris Kamara have been rumoured to be in the line-up, as has Richard Madeley, whose time in the castle was cut short in 2021 when he left to go to hospital.

While many fans wanted to see him back on our TV screens, the presenter was not allowed to return to the camp as he had left the Covid bubble.

Explaining his brief illness, he said: "I think what happened to me was, I think I got dehydrated, that's all it was.

"But dehydration is actually quite disturbing."

He went on to say: "It's not a pleasant thing. I think I had been up for 20 hours the day before, and the day before that, we were having very, very long days and sleeping quite late."

Richard continued: "I don't think I got to bed until four or four-thirty in the morning and I knew I was feeling thirsty. I'm quite bad at remembering to drink actually, drink water.

"As I snuggled into my sleeping bag, it was freezing, I thought, 'I haven't had a big drink for a while, oh, I'll do it when I wake up.'"

He finished off by adding: "The next thing I knew, I was sitting there babbling. I don't know.

"I was talking nonsense… I woke up, I didn't know where I was, what was going on and I could hardly string a sentence together."
