Judy Finnigan has been spotted cradling her new granddaughter Bodhi as she’s admitted “this time feels different”.
The TV personality’s 35 year old daughter Chloe Madeley – who Judy, 74, shares with GMB host Richard Madeley, 66 – gave birth to her first child in early August.
Chloe shares Bodhi with her husband of four years, James Haskell, 37, and the new parents look to be besotted with their bundle of joy.
Fitness fan Chloe looked cool and casual for the family outing as she rocked an oversized jumper, a pair of cycling shorts and a cream cap over her blonde hair.
The family, including Chloe, Judy, James and Richard all enjoyed an alfresco lunch as they cooed over the newest member of their family.
Judy, dressed in all black, looked every inch the doting grandmother as she stared into her new granddaughter's pram and even took her out for a cuddle.
At one point, Chloe's rugby player husband James cradled his sleeping daughter who looked adorable in a giraffe-printed babygrow.
Grandmother of four Judy revealed that it "feels different" now he daughter Chloe has given birth to her own child.
Speaking to OK! , Judy said: "It’s totally different being a grandmother to a mother. She’s our fourth grandchild now and it’s extraordinarily joyful. It feels almost primitive in a way. You feel like it’s almost part of your clan, like they’re an extension of the tribe.
“Chloe’s my only daughter – my other grandchildren were born to my sons, and it’s different when it’s your daughter. You just feel so close to her. I still can remember her at that age, and to see her with her own baby now, I think she’s fantastic and I really do mean that.
Chloe and James exclusively shared the news of their daughter's birth with OK! on 14 August as they said: “We are delighted to welcome to the world our daughter. We are utterly besotted and beaming with pride”.
They also shared the first sweet snap of their little one, who arrived this week, with the shot showing their baby girl's hand.
The adorable little one arrived on the morning of Wednesday August 10 2022 at 8.36am.
The family have been spending a lot of time together, as Chloe and James moved back in with her famous parents in London’s affluent Hampstead Heath while renovations to their new home five minutes down the road are completed.
Chloe told OK! : “Dad’s been scooping Bodhi up and taking her upstairs in the mornings to my mum, so my mum can have an hour-long cuddle, just them two together, which I think is the sweetest thing in the world.
“They’re really besotted and I’m so grateful we’re staying with my parents during this time, because our house isn’t ready for us to move into yet, because actually it’s just been so lovely.”
