It’s been a year of health struggles in the Bieber household. Earlier this year, Hailey Bieber shocked fans when she disclosed that she had been hospitalized after suffering a mini-stroke and this week, Justin Bieber revealed that he’s been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has caused partial facial paralysis and (very understandably) forced the singer to cancel a series of shows.
FWIW, though, a source close to the couple says their respective health struggles have only proved how strong they are as a couple.
“Between Hailey’s health scare earlier this year and now this, it’s a lot for them. Hailey is worried as well. Just like Justin did everything he could to take care of Hailey, she now does the same for him,” the insider told People. “They are a great team and will get through it together. Justin can’t wait to recover and continue working.”
Justin shared the news of his diagnosis on Instagram earlier this week, in a video message to fans.
