The Yeezy designer continues his war with Adidas and his other enemies, including the two musicians, in a series of Instagram rants that sees him calling Adidas exec Torben Schumacher an ‘idiot.’
AceShowbiz -Apparently, the feud is not over just yet. Kanye West continues his war with Adidas and his other enemies, including John Legend and Kid Cudi, in a series of Instagram rants on Tuesday, September 20.
The “Donda” rapper took to his account to take shots at Adidas exec Torben Schumacher as well as the two musicians. Calling Torben an “idiot,” Ye wrote on his post, “Who are the real decision makers at adidas? Torben is a f**king idiot. Torben stole my designs. adidas stole my designs.”
“They did the Balenciaga collaboration without my knowledge and then stopped my Balenciaga Gap shoes from going to market. Nobody call me and ask me if I’m sleeping,” he continued complaining. “It’s war. We deaded Gap now it’s adidas time.”
In another post, the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian further ripped the footwear brand. “My issue is the unfairness. I’m not trying to take advantage of Adidas. I’m making sure weeee never get taken advantage again,” the “Famous” rapper explained.
The Yeezy designer then praised the owner of Harold’s. “Thank you to the owner’s of Harold’s for your royalty. They told gee that they wouldn’t do a deal with Adidas until me and Adidas was cool. That’s some real Chicago s**t. Love y’all for that. I ain’t even know there was still loyalty like that after these past few years. Love you for real,” he gushed.
In the caption, Ye shaded John Legend and Kid Cudi as writing, “HAROLDS REALER THAN JOHN LEGEND AND CUDI.” For those who need a reminder, Ye fell out with John as the “All of Me” singer didn’t support his political move. As for Cudi, Ye doubted his loyalty after he was seen being friends with Pete Davidson, who dated Kim at the time.
The shady posts came as surprise because just few days ago, Ye claimed that he decided to squash his beefs with his enemies, including Adidas, Cudi and the comedian. “Life is precious,” the 45-year-old rapper wrote a day after Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8. Alongside two throwback portraits of the late monarch wearing her crown, he went on to say, “Releasing all grudges today. Leaning into the light.”
The “Gold Digger” spitter then extended an olive branch to Cudi, Adidas Senior Vice President/General Manager Daniel Cherry III and Pete. “Best wishes and blessings to Pete Cudi Daniel Cherry,” he penned.
