Strictly Come Dancing pro Karen Hauer’s estranged husband Jordan Wyn-Jones has lifted the lid on their split, claiming that the star’s job “took her away from me.”
In an interview with the MailOnline, Jordan broke his silence on the breakdown of his marriage, which had lasted only one year.
“I will always admire her [Karen] for her career but it took her away from me a lot. She’d be away and I’d be at home on my own,” said Jordan.
“Karen has a lot of work on and she’s career-driven,” he added.
“That’s OK but I need a different type of support in a partner. I’m not saying she didn’t support me because she did, but she just wasn’t around.”

The 34-year old also suggested that uncertainty over having children was another factor that led the relationship to crumble.
“But we wanted different things. There was a plan about having children but then there wasn’t a plan,” Jordan claimed.
Last month, rumours circulated that Karen was experiencing a “tough time” and had decided to split from Jordan.
A source told The Mirror: “Karen and Jordan have had a tough time in the past few months and decided to split. It’s obviously very sad for both of them.
“But there’s no ill-will whatsoever. The split is amicable, and they wish each other the best.”

Karen tied the knot with Jordan last June.
The dancer was previously married to former Strictly professional Kevin Clifton from 2015.
However, the marriage only lasted until 2018 before the dancing duo called it quits.
Karen found love again with opera singer David Webb and the couple moved in together and adopted a dog, Marley.
Sadly, after two years together they surprised the world when they announced their separation.
Karen married Jordan in Hampshire, the same spot where he proposed in December 2021.
