Kate debuts subtly lighter hair as she makes her debut as Princess Of Wales

Kate Middleton kicked off her first royal duty as The Princess of Wales valiantly as she greeted mourners at Windsor Castle on Saturday 10 September.

Dressed respectfully in black, it also appeared the mum of three has a new hairstyle as she debuted a lighter colour than her usual dark brown tresses.

The star, who is often praised for her fashion choices, was pictured sporting light brown locks as the Autumnal season gets underway.

Kate smiled and thanked guests for their support as she made her way along the line of the awaiting public and took time to admire the floral donations gifted from well-wishers in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, who sadly passed away this week.

The Princess was joined by her husband, The Prince of Wales, as well as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who all stopped and spoke with the mourners paying their respects.

The Royal Family shook hands with the public, while Meghan even offered a hug to one girl in the crowd.

While this is Kate's first public outing today, her husband William attended St James's Palace this morning and was witness to his father being officially proclaimed our new monarch in front of the Privy Council.

William has also been given the title The Prince of Wales and today showed his devotion to the people of Great Britain as he interacted with the public at Windsor.

He also put on a united front with brother Harry and is said to have "invited" the Sussexes to join him and his wife for the outing.

It is thought that this is the first time the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have all been in public together since Commonwealth Day in 2020.

It comes as Prince William shared a heartfelt tribute to his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

He told his Instagram followers his grandmother was an "extraordinary leader" while thanking her for her kindness to him and his family.

He then vowed to "honour her memory" by supporting his father, King Charles III, in "every way" he can.
