Kate Ferdinand ‘very tired’ as she ignores ‘fighting, screaming’ kids

Kate Ferdinand has spoken out about her exhaustion as she ignores her ‘fighting, screaming’ kids as the summer holidays finally end.

Sharing her relatable experience on Instagram, the exhausted mum admitted that she was struggling to cope with her kids, as they could be heard shouting and arguing in the background of a short video clip.

Rather than responding to them, the 31 year old told the camera: “It’s got to that point in the holidays where, they’re fighting and screaming my name and I’m just ignoring them.”

Pausing for a moment to highlight the children bickering off camera, Kate then confessed: “I’m tired, so very tired. I can’t hear anything,” as she continued to rest.

Captioning the clip, which will most likely resonate with parents around the country, the former TOWIE star wrote: “I feel tired. I look tired. I am bloody tired.” She added two emojis – an exasperated laugh and a weary sigh.

Hundreds of other parents up and down the country will be feeling much the same, with one writer telling OK! that she was “thrilled’ to see the back of her children as they returned to school after 7 weeks at home.

Eimear O’Hagan, 41, a writer and mum of two admitted she was thrilled to see the back of the summer holidays that left her feeling guilty and exhausted, as she urged other mums out there, just like Kate, to “ stop pretending the summer holidays are, for lots of parents out there, anything other than really challenging.”

She added: “Normalise moaning about them, not pretending they’re something we all enjoy!”

Kate’s latest post comes just weeks after she took a social media break to help her process the heartbreaking loss of a baby when she miscarried at 12 weeks.

Taking to social media back in July, Kate bravely revealed the devastating loss of her second unborn child with husband Rio Ferdinand after attending a 12 week scan.

After taking some time out to process the loss, Kate later returned to social media last month where she admitted she was “in a much better place” after taking some time out to grieve privately.

Kate, who tied the knot to footballer Rio in a stunning beach ceremony in 2019, previously thanked her fans for sending her love after announcing the tragic news.
