Kevin Hart Assures Jamie Foxx’s ‘Getting Better’ Amid Hospitalization

During an appearance on a podcast, the ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ star also notes that the ‘Django Unchained’ actor has seen and felt all the prayers and love sent to him.

AceShowbizKevin Hart has had an update on Jamie Foxx‘s health condition. When making an appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast, the “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” actor revealed that the “Django Unchained” actor is “getting better.”

In the Tuesday, May 2 episode of the podcast, the 43-year-old comedian spoke to hosts Logan Paul and Mike Majlak about his actor pal. “I think the dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation,” he said. “Everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt.”

Spilling more details of Jamie’s condition since he suffered a “medical complication”, the “Night School” star further explained, “I don’t know the details or the exact details as to what’s going on, but to my knowledge, there’s a lot of progression and a world of better.”

Kevin went on to send his “love, synergy, energy” for Jamie whom he considers as someone who is “needed” and “necessary.” He added, “I know that he knows that, and I know that he feels that because there’s been an outcry and outpour in his regard, and I can only hope that it continues.”

Shortly after Kevin gave an update on his health condition, Jamie himself came out with his first post since his long-term hospitalization. On Wednesday, May 3, he took to Instagram to express his gratitude by writing, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.” He added emojis of praying hands, a red heart and a fox.

In addition, the 55-year-old Hollywood star made use of Instagram Story to give a shoutout to Nick Cannon who took over his role to be the host on “Beat Shazam”. Over a photo of the show’s announcement that he reposted, he noted, “Appreciate ya my boy @NickCannon. See u all soon.”

Jamie has been hospitalized for nearly a month. His health issue was brought to public attention by his daughter, Corinne Foxx, who let out a statement that her father had to be hospitalized in Georgia. She stated at the time, “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
