King Charles Started Process To Evict ‘Stunned’ Harry & Meghan THE DAY AFTER Spare Was Published!

Yikes! King Charles was so done with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry once that memoir hit the shelves, he couldn’t wait to thrown them out of Frogmore Cottage!

As we previously reported on Wednesday, the 74-year-old monarch evicted the couple from the five-bedroom estate they’d been gifted — leaving them without a residence to call home in the UK. We knew this was shortly after the release of Harry’s bombshell book Spare — but “shortly after” was apparently an understatement! Apparently King Charles wasted no time at all in giving an eviction notice to Meghan and Harry and handing over the keys to the residence to the disgraced Prince Andrew. According to Page Six, the process began the day after the Duke of Sussex released his book on January 10! Yeah, we’re talking about 24 hours after it dropped he decided to kick them out!

Obviously, the royals were not happy about what Harry had to say in the memoir, in which he opened up about the rocky relationship with the family, including with his father and brother Prince William. But to evict them from Frogmore just one day after its release? That is a pretty brutal move! Clearly, King Charles is over the drama and wants to make a clear statement that they’re no longer welcome since Harry decided to continue to air their dirty laundry.

Despite the shocking move, it sounds like he decided to give Meghan and Harry some time to vacate the premises. An insider told royal expert and reporter Omid Scobie that while they had only “weeks” to get their belongings out of Frogmore at first, they now have until the coronation in May:

“It all feels very final and like a cruel punishment. It’s like want to cut them out of the picture for good. Harry and Meghan have until early summer to vacate. Initially they were given just weeks, but now they have at least until after the coronation.”

We mean… that’s still just weeks.

Already, the pair have been organizing a plan to move their items to Montecito, California — including an ornate ottoman bench and a chaise lounge. As for how Meghan and Harry took the eviction news? Well, insiders further claimed to Omid that the couple are “stunned” by the whole situation. They aren’t the only ones, either! Two royal family members are also reportedly “appalled” by the eviction notice. While Omid doesn’t mention who those two people are, the Sussexes are close to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie — so it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they had some strong opinions about the decision to further ice out Harry and Meghan by giving away their UK home. Yes, it’s going to their dad, but we’re hearing he doesn’t want to move there either!

While Meghan and Harry reportedly are shocked by the eviction, it looks like they refuse to let the situation bother them — at least when they’re in public! A source told Page Six the two “seemed to be in extremely good spirits” while out at the San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles hours before the news of their eviction broke. Furthermore, sources previously reported that Harry has had “no regrets” despite the book causing further tensions with his family:

“Harry said he was really happy about the success of the book and the reaction to it. He said he had no regrets about any of the revelations, and he’s relieved to have got his story out into the world. There’s been an amazing reaction to it. Prince Harry is already planning to add at least one new chapter … to the paperback version … out later this year or early next, when the hardcover sales have ended.”

He might be having some regrets now that he no longer has a place to go whenever he returns for important royal events. Does he just not plan on doing that anymore??
