Lauren Goodger reveals her new tattoo was created from late daughter Lorenas ashes

Lauren Goodger has explained that her new tattoo was created using her late daughter Lorena's ashes.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 35, has had Lorena's name inked on her arm alongside a butterfly in a touching tribute to her newborn daughter, who tragically passed away two days after she was born.

After showing off her new tattoo on her Stories recently, Lauren has now revealed that it was created using her late daughter's ashes.

"So my Lorena tattoo has been tattooed with her ashes, it's something special," the reality TV star told her followers on social media.

Lauren added: "Her ashes are now tattooed in me forever," alongside a tearful emoji and a broken heart emoji.

The unique tattoos, which are known as cremation or memorial tattoos, are created using a blend of traditional tattoo ink and a small amount of cremation ashes.

The new tattooing method helps those who have lost a loved one to feel a physical connection to them and acts as a constant reminder of someone they've lost.

Lauren revealed that she has been working through a list full of things each day and that her new tattoo had been on her mind "everyday".

"Everyday I go through my list that is full of things that I have to do either for my babies, my home, my future for my Larose and my [angel emoji] baby… This was one on my list that was on my mind everyday and I'm so glad it's [tick emoji]," she explained to her fans.

Lauren's touching tattoo tribute to Lorena comes as the star has been hit with a host of tragedies over recent months.

Her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean died on 3 July aged 33 after his car plunged off a cliff in Turkey, and straight after Lauren held a private funeral for her daughter earlier this month, she was allegedly assaulted.

The 35 year old has now reportedly moved out of her old apartment to "start fresh" with her one year old daughter Larose, who has been a "rock" for her during this difficult time.

"Larose has been giving her the strength to carry on," a source told Closer. "Lauren has been incredibly brave considering everything that she's been through over the last few weeks."

They continued: "It's been the scariest time of her life. But Larose is her priority and she's like a lioness around her.

"She's moving into a new house and having a fresh start. Her old apartment holds too many bad memories so this will definitely feel like an escape."
