Lily Allen marries David Habour in cute Las Vegas ceremony

Lily Allen has recalled the moment she fainted in a restaurant after suffering from food poisoning.

The 38-year-old said things swiftly took a turn after she believed she was fine to eat out again, three days into falling ill in Mexico.

From her husband David Harbour’s memory, the singer detailed that just three mouthfuls into a starter she ordered, she “went white” and “fainted” which resulted in him having to help.

The Smile hitmaker explained: “I was sort of on my third day [of being unwell], but I thought I’m out of this it’s fine.

“We went to the restaurant, sat down and ordered some starters and I had three bites, then David said I just went white and then I stoop up, fainted in the restaurant.

“David had to carry me to the toilet, I don’t know why we’re still married after what he saw, because it wasn’t coming out this way,” she laughed.

“He literally had to hold me up while that happened and then I got taken back to the hotel and slept that off for another day.”

The scary ordeal didn’t trigger Lily too much however as she went on a “taco tour” the next day.

The singer spoke of the moment on Alan Carr’s Life’s a Beach podcast when discussing holidays and food.

Ahead of this, she dipped into her life a little further and revealed how lockdown brought her and the Stranger Things star closer together.

At the first stages of the pandemic, she revealed they had only been dating for six months and he lived in America while she was in the UK.

With this, she decided to take a risk and asked him to stay with her for lockdown to see how they’d get on.

Reflecting on the decision, Lily said the move made her life “improve immeasurably”.

After realising just how good they did get on, they went on to marry in 2020 in Las Vegas.

Their nuptials came two years after she and ex-husband Sam Cooper divorced after seven years married.

The former couple share two children together; Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10.

After marrying for a second time, Lily opened up on her desire to have more children.

She told The Sunday Times Style magazine: “I think so. Especially now Marnie’s getting so big. It’s like, no, my babies!

“I do like having babies around. I miss little terrors running around the house.”
