Love Island’s Amy Hart gives update on baby son’s ‘blue tinge’ around mouth

Amy Hart has given fans an update on her baby son Stanley's health after some people became concerned by a "blue tinge" around his mouth.

The former Love Island star, 30, welcomed the newborn on 3 March with boyfriend Sam Rason, and has been keeping fans updated on the youngster.

However some became concerned after noticing that the tot had a blue tinge around his mouth.

Revealing that she sought medical advice after seeing the comments, Amy took to her Instagram Story where she wrote: "Lots of you messaged last night about the blue tinge around Stanley's mouth in the video of him in his Moses basket.

"Lots said it could be trapped wind, some said it could be cyanosis which could have been more serious. We got him checked out and all fine. He's very luck to have so many people looking out for her so thank you."

It comes after Amy revealed the meaning behind the tot's name in a sweet Instagram post featuring a snap of the baby.

She wrote: "Stanley Samuel Giles Rason.

"Stanley: We loved the name and also Amy’s Grandad Geoffs middle name. Samuel: After @samuelrason obviously but also Amys brother is Samuel too! Giles: Nanny and Grandads last name, hopefully he’ll inherit their love of shots!"

Speaking to OK! Amy has opened up about her birthing experience, revealing that she used hypnobirthing as a relaxation technique during labour.

She told us: "It was super quick! It meant I could only have gas and air, but it meant I felt everything and could get up and walk around afterwards.

"Hypnobirthing was absolutely amazing – I did four days and 10cm on hypnobirthing and breathing alone. I completely recommend that to everybody – it was amazing!

“I used it in between my contractions as well, so that when I was pushing I used the hypnobreathing to keep my mind focused in between the pushes and then again when I was being stitched up."

Hypnobreathing involves using relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to help relax the body before and during labour and birth.

It is thought that the technique can help with any fear and anxiety around birth and help with the experience of pain.

Amy announced her pregnancy last year during an appearance on Loose Women. The pregnancy news came after she opened up about her fertility issues and spending £12,000 on freezing her eggs in an effort to increase her chances of becoming a mum one day.

However, Amy revealed that she had actually conceived naturally, adding that if she doesn't use the frozen eggs in the future then she will donate them.
