Love Island's Chyna Mills has confirmed that she and fiancé Neil Jones have already chosen a name for their unborn baby as she revealed she “absolutely loves it” and that is it “meaningful”.
Chyna revealed she was expecting her first child with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, Neil Jones, 41, in April and has been sharing her journey with her followers ever since.
The 24 year old recently took to her Instagram to do a Q&A where she was asked if she has chosen a baby name yet. Chyna excitedly answered the question and said: “We have a baby’s name, we have a baby’s name, we have a baby’s name. I am super excited about our baby’s name, I absolutely love it.”
She continued and said: “We are keeping our baby’s name very close to our chests so it is only staying between me and Neil until the baby is here.”
Explaining her reasoning for keeping it to themselves she said: “Just simply because when it does come to naming a child, a lot of people have a lot of input – well, try to have a lot of input – and a lot of opinions and things like that and, yeah, it’s just nice for me and Neil to just be happy about the name that we’ve chosen and everyone can hear it when the baby’s here.”
She said she “cannot wait” and added: “What I will say, we haven’t picked a name that doesn’t have meaning, if that makes sense, because we really wanted a name that, like, yeah, had some meaning towards it.”
During the same Q&A, the former islander was asked what advice she would give anyone going into Casa Amour on this year's season, to which she responded: “What I will say is, be you, go in there and just have fun.”
Chyna and Neil got engaged while on holiday in Bali back in February, with Chyna revealing she felt like she was "dreaming". Apparently, professional dancer and choreographer Neil had planned on asking Chyna to marry him before discovering she was pregnant, and their baby joy simply helped "everything come together".
Neil told HELLO!: "I'd already planned to ask Chyna to marry me before we knew she was pregnant. Then we found out and I was like: 'Oh, this is brilliant, everything is coming together'."
Initially, Chyna had thought the proposal was a prank as she told the publication: "At first, I thought he was joking because we play jokes on each other all the time. Then Neil was like: 'Chyna, so is it a "yes" or "no"?' because a few minutes had passed and he was still on one knee. I was like: 'Yeah!'"
