Love Island’s Olivia Attwood arrives down under ahead of I’m A Celebrity 2022 series

Australia has welcomed I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'s second star as Olivia Attwood touched down on Monday 24 October ahead of the new series.

The 31 year old Love Island star appeared bare-faced as she made her way through the airport wearing a black crop top with a matching black jumper wrapped around her waist.

Styling her blonde mane down, the fan-favourite donned a pair of black-rimmed glasses and carried a tote over one shoulder.

Speaking to the Mirror about her upcoming time in the jungle, where she'll be away from fiancé Bradley Dack, she said: "I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual.

"I haven't packed very many bikinis, we are not allowed very many."

"If I can get in that jungle I will get in the shower," she continued, before adding: "My friends and family have always wanted me to do this show so lets see how it goes. I love Ant and Dec, I have grown up watching them. They are British TV Icons."

When quizzed on what she'll miss the most, she referred to her other half Bradley as she said: "It is day one at the minute so I'm not missing much. But in three or four days the dogs and my fiancé probably. I mean four weeks and no sh*gging what can you do?"

Olivia added that she and Brad have code words they agreed on before revealing she's wearing matching bracelets with him.

"You spotted that!(the bracelets)," she said. "And I have got a really cute idea as well so I will save it for in the camp."

Olivia landed after radio presenter Chris Moyles made his grand entrance, looking laid back in a black shirt and blue jeans at the airport.

Chris, 48, was the first star to be confirmed for the 2022 series of the fan-favourite programme and spoke out on his excitement to be going into the jungle, where celebrity contestants are deprive of their home comforts.

Speaking to Mirror, he said being on the show "should be nice, fingers crossed anyway."

Chris then joked that there's "lots of everything in this country, like like sport and beer and I am not scared of sport of beer. So I think I will be alright," when questioned on whether he's afraid of creepy crawlies.

He added: "I have absolutely no idea what my family and friends would think of me doing a show like I'm A Celebrity. I have never asked them.

"But I think they would be much more nervous about me doing Antiques Roadshow."

The flagship ITV reality show is heading back to Australia this year for the first time since the pandemic, and it's happening a little earlier than usual.

The Sun has revealed that I'm A Celeb is returning to our TVs on Sunday, 6 November, with the show being brought forward to allow room for the World Cup to be shown later in the month.

This means that fans have just two weeks until they're welcomed back to Australia by Ant and Dec, seeing a whole new group of celebrities tackling Bushtucker Trials and complaining about rice and beans.

This will be the first time since 2019 that the show will be broadcast in Australia, with the pandemic forcing ITV to stage their biggest show in Gwrych Castle in Wales instead.

But while the Welsh castle still had the iconic I'm A Celeb formula, fans were keen to see the show return to the Australian jungle.

ITV has already started ramping up promotion for this year's series, with them releasing an advert featuring hosts Ant McPartlin, 46, and Declan Donnelly, 47, skydiving into the jungle before pulling their parachutes and giving the audience a special message – with the canopies reading: "We're back!"

The minute-long clip begins with Ant, 46, and Dec, 47, flying in a helicopter through the bright blue sky, before Ant chucks a suitcase from the chopper and a seemingly nervous Dec says: “Where’s the luggage going?”

Ant then replies: “It’s meeting us there!”

“Where?!” Dec exclaims.

Ant then takes a leap from the helicopter – or appears to at least. Clever special effects then see the presenters sport parachutes as they plummet towards the jungle.
