Love Island’s Zara Lackenby-Brown splits from Jordan Odofin in second show breakup

The second Love Island couple from this year's series have split, after Zara Lackenby-Brown made an announcement about her relationship with Jordan Odofin.

The 25 year old started dating Jordan after both were booted from the show, but the pair took to their respective Instagram stories to post the same statement which confirmed that they are just enjoying a "fun friendship" and are not exclusive.

The Instagram story message read: "Hey everyone.

"Jordan and I would like to acknowledge the increasing public support for us to be seen as an exclusive couple."

It went on: "After a few dates since leaving the villa, we know that we definitely get along & enjoy each other's company.

"It's been 2 & a half weeks of getting to know each other, & for now it's a fun friendship between us."

The statement concluded: "We have a lot of respect for each other & that's what matters," alongside a praying hands emoji.

The pair were seen enjoying a sushi date mid-February, after previously revealing that they had been messaging after both being dumped from the villa.

They both entered the villa as bombshells, but didn't cross paths on the show as Zara was dumped not long before Jordan arrived.

Jordan was open about his attraction to Zara since after leaving the villa as he shared their plans for a date night on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast recently.

He revealed that he was disappointed that Zara had been dumped just the day before he arrived in the villa, saying: "My usual type wasn't in the villa when I got there."

Admitting he fancied Zara, Jordan added: "We've been speaking. She was definitely my top three. We might be meeting up tomorrow, we don't waste time."

Zara and Jordan are the second couple to split from this year's series, after Casey O'Gorman announced that he and Rosie Seabrook had decided to just be friends.

Casey revealed that he and Rosie had split during an Instagram Q&A, after weeks of rumours that the couple had gone their separate ways as soon as they were dumped from the show.

A fan asked the TV star: "How are things with you and Rosie?" To which Casey replied: "Rosie and I have spoken… she's such a great girl.

"Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward!" which he followed with a white heart emoji.

Rosie has yet to comment on the split, but yesterday shared that she was having a girls' day out with fellow ex-islander Jessie Wynter, before heading to a Chris Brown concert.

It comes after fans speculated that that the pair had already split, following an "awkward" appearance on the Love Island reunion show on Sunday night.
