MAFS star Jays devastating five word statement as she hits out at ex-husband Luke

Married At First Sight bride Jay Howard appeared to hit out at her ex-husband Luke Worley on Instagram in a new post, as she referred to their "divorce".

Jay, 31, married Luke, also 31, on the latest series of MAFS and while the pair were a good match, things ultimately didn't work out and they parted ways.

It seems they've remained on good terms however, having shared photos and interacted on social media over recent weeks, but Jay's latest post appeared to make a dig at her former husband.

The MAFS bride posted new photos of her attending The GEM Appeal Moulin Rouge Charity Ball on Saturday, 18 November in Manchester alongside fellow celebs.

Jay got glammed up in a black satin gown, which she teamed with matching accessories including a statement rose around her neck.

"Divorce looks good on me…," she captioned a photo of herself at the event, where she could be seen beaming for the camera as she confidently struck a pose.

Many of Jay's followers flocked to agree with her and compliment her, with one person saying: "It certainly does you look stunning xx," while a second fan added: "Yes it does! His loss".

"It really does you look incredible x," a third person said and a fourth added: "Stunning and beautiful, inside and out xx".

Jay's post comes after Luke opened up about his time on MAFS, revealing he needed counselling after taking part in the intense experiment earlier this year. Following the reunion episode airing, he candidly opened up about how MAFS personally impacted him.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Luke penned: "So after this reunion I cut myself off as I was at one of the lowest points of my life. I had to go to counselling for weeks to recover from MAFS as I lost myself and I didn't know who I was anymore."

He went on to slam viewers who have been trolling MAFS contestants online and vowed to "talk out" about "why reality TV is toxic" in the near future.

"Since MAFS started airing I have had hate including death threats and it's not acceptable," Luke wrote. "Whether you love me or hate me there is no need for scummy comments to me or any of the other cast. I will talk out about my experience and why reality TV is toxic in the coming weeks to spread awareness to others wanting to take part."

Luke's time on MAFS was dramatic to say the least with his on-going feud with fellow groom Jordan Gayle reaching boiling point before his and Jay's exit.
