MAFS Thomas reveals he’s ‘not on good terms’ with husband Adrian as show comes to an end

Married At First Sight’s Thomas Hartley has given an update on his situation and revealed he’s not on very good terms with husband Adrian Sanderson.

The pair have had an undeniably explosive season of the hit E4 show and, while many MAFs fans were rooting for them, they went on to call time on their relationship just before the show’s infamous final vows.

Now, in a new update ahead of the show’s finale tonight, Thursday 13 October, Thomas has told fans that he’s not on very good terms with Adrian at the moment.

In a Q&A on Instagram, the Liverpudlian was asked: “Are you and Adrian on good terms now?”

Thomas replied: “Urm, not really… but not bad, but not good. We can’t seem to get it together.”

“Different ways of dealing with things and different opinions,” he went on. “There’s no animosity or nothing.”

Thomas’ comments come at the same time as Adrian confirming his relationship status to be single.

Also quizzed on a Q&A, he responded to the question: “Oh you’re the first one to ask me this. Urm, my relationship status is… single.”

While Adrian and Thomas didn’t make it to the final vows, the likes of Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson, April Banbury and George Roberts, and Sophie Brown and Jonathan Wileman have.

Zoe, Jenna, April and George all chose to stay with their respective partners on Wednesday night’s episode, but Sophie and Jonathan’s fate wasn’t revealed.

Sophie told her husband that she wanted to stay, while Jonathan’s answer wasn’t shown and is expected to air in the finale this evening.

While the teaser sees Jonathan look sheepish as he admits: "I feel bad now…" to which a concerned Sophie asks: "What have you written?"

It then cuts to his vows as he says: "I was always a guy who had to feel everything… unfortunately, I wasn't feeling that with you."

The teaser has also hinted at Chanita Stephenson and Jordan Emmett-Connelly's vows, as well as Whitney Hughes and Matt Murray's decision.

In the clip, Whitney says: "I don't want to disappoint Matt, but I've had to think of my head and not just go with my heart."

While Jordan warns: "I really don't want to hurt Chanita but I've got to be completely honest today."

Cutting to Matt's vows, he says: "Have we been foolish? Are things moving too fast?"

The final episode of MAFS UK airs tonight at 9pm on E4.
