On Friday, Mandy Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith welcomed their second baby, a little boy named Oscar Bennett. The 38-year-old actress and singer announced his delivery on Instagram in a shared post.
“Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb (and an easier/speedier delivery than his big brother, much to the delight of his parents),” they said in their announcement. “Every adage is true: our hearts have doubled in size and the immediacy of the love is astounding. He is beyond words and we are so grateful for our family of four!”

In the carousel of images, Moore is seen holding her son and smiling from the hospital bed, and with Goldsmith looking down at Oscar over her shoulder. There’s also a shot of Goldsmith doing skin-to-skin contact with the infant for a little father/son bonding.
The couple’s first son, Gus, was born in February of 2021. Moore was sure to include him when she announced her new pregnancy this past summer.

She shared a photo of Gus in a t-shirt reading “big brother,” and wrote in the caption, “One incredibly seminal chapter of my life just ended and the next one, as a mother of two, is about to start… and are we ever so deeply grateful and excited. Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 coming this fall! Tour is gonna be slightly different than I expected but I can’t wait and Gus is gonna be the BEST big brother!! Xo.”
Moore did end up going on tour, but she canceled after 12 shows, citing her and the baby’s health.
“When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed,” she wrote at the time. “I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first and the best place for me to be right now is at home.”
Fans were quite excited for Moore to be on the road just after her six stint on NBC’s This Is Us came to a close in may of 2022. But all ticket holders were fully refunded, and hopefully Moore will be on tour again after adjusting to her new family.
