Maralee Nichols has some thoughts about Khloé Kardashian’s raving review of Tristan Thompson’s parenting…
ICYMI, on Monday afternoon, The Kardashians star took to Instagram to wish her ex and the father of her two children a happy 32nd birthday. She really went all out by recognizing the many ways the basketball player makes their daughter True and surrogate son (who’s name hasn’t been announced) feel special.
In the emotional post, she wrote in part:
“Happy birthday @realtristan13, You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles.”

He sounds like the most hands-on, attentive father, right? Well, that is until you remember his OTHER family…
One of Tristan’s other baby mommas — he has two more besides Khloé! — had a very different opinion of the former NBA star’s parenting, and she didn’t hesitate to throw some shade. As b-day tributes for the athlete flooded social media, Maralee shared a simple photo of herself and her baby Theo sleeping in bed. A caption wasn’t included with the pic, but it really wasn’t needed! The photo spoke for itself! Ch-ch-check it out (below).
Yup, she totally wanted the world to remember the child Tristan fathered while cheating on the Good American founder — and the same one who he reportedly has no plans to meet after a long paternity battle. Not exactly the spitting image of the “best father” ever, is it… Oof.
As Perezcious readers know, the fitness trainer first rocketed to fame after claiming Tristan had knocked her up during an affair. According to legal docs, the former Chicago Bulls forward had attempted to keep the infidelity a secret by offering to pay Maralee $75k in hush money, but she opted to sue for child support instead (she now earns $9.5k a month from the star). Tristan didn’t come clean about the scandal until after a paternity test confirmed he was the father. Despite working hard on rebuilding his shattered relationship with the 38-year-old model (even sparking dating rumors — AGAIN!), he’s made no effort to be there for Maralee or Theo. So, yeah, it’s easy to see why Maralee would find some fault in KoKo’s enthusiastic reflection of Tristan as a dad!
By the way, Tristan is also the father of 6-year-old Prince Thompson with Jordan Craig, and judging by social media posts, they seem to have a fairly close relationship. So, it’s just Theo who was kicked to the curb, sadly. Thoughts? SOUND OFF (below)!
