Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan tour their home in 2021
Mark Wright joked he is “safe” from splitting with wife Michelle Keegan as he appeared on BBC Morning Live last week with co-host Kimberley Walsh.
The Only Way Is Essex star reassured fans that his marriage is perfectly fine as the duo spoke to a family law specialist.
Kimberley told viewers: “September and January are the most common months for couples to call it a day and 2023 is expected to see the biggest rise in people divorcing in 50 years.”
She added: “September is the month where there is a spike, and my view is that after the summer holidays, people have reached the conclusion ‘I can’t carry on’.
“Spending time with children during that time can be hard.”

She then asked: “It’s that work-life balance isn’t it?”
Divorce specialist Amanda told the duo that a lot of people wanted a “fresh year” after the Christmas holidays.
She went on to discuss the types of divorces that happen with couples as well as the myths of it.
Speaking about the misconception of a “quickie divorce”, she added: “These companies are kind of throwing it at people and are like, ‘We can do it quick’, but there’s no such thing.

Mark previously blasted claims that he does not spend quality time with Michelle, after speaking on headlines that depicted the pair “rarely” seeing each other and said “no one knows” what goes on behind closed doors in their marriage.
He told Daily Mail: “Do you know what, whenever there’s a picture of us together people will say ‘rare picture of Mark and Michelle’ or ‘Mark and Michelle reunite after time apart’ we just don’t tell everyone when we do spend quality time together.
“I could be in the house with Michelle for two weeks, but no one will know that because I’m not necessarily posting about it.
“We spend plenty of quality time together and we’ve had plenty of weekends away. We have got stuff booked up.”
