Meghan and Harry honour Beyonces special outfit request at star-studded concert

Meghan Markle paid tribute to Beyoncé while attending her concert by honouring the singer’s special birthday request.

The duchess of Sussex donned silver attire during the singer’s Renaissance tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday evening.

Accompanied by Prince Harry, her mother Doria Ragland, and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, the Duchess stood out in a silver sequined pencil skirt from SPRWMN, priced at $405, paired with a white sleeveless top.

Beyoncé, who celebrated her 41st birthday last month, had requested via Instagram that fans wear their “most fabulous silver fashions” to her concerts from August 23 to September 22, envisioning a “shimmering human disco ball.”

Markle wasn’t the only star adhering to the Grammy-winning singer’s dress code.

Celebrities such as Gabrielle Union, who wore a radiant silver mesh dress with matching undergarments, and others like Tracee Ellis Ross, Brie Larson, Issa Rae, Jordyn Woods, and Kelly Rowland, also shimmered in chrome outfits.

Harry did fulfill Beyoncé’s request for her attendees to ware silver, sporting white trousers, a grey sweatshirt, and of course the silver blazer.

But he raised eyebrows not just with his reserved demeanor but with a peculiar fashion choice: a blazer with buttons on the left side.

Traditionally, the buttons on men’s jackets are on the right while those on women’s are on the left, a tribute to Victorian-era customs where women’s clothing was designed to be buttoned by someone else, typically a maid.

This difference left spectators questioning the origins of Harry’s jacket and whether it was a last-minute choice or possibly even Meghan’s.

Markle and Harry weren’t the only celebs making headlines that night after Kris Jenner and Offset were seen hitting the electric slide alongside Jay-Z after Travis Barker canceled his tour due to a family emergency.

Amid the heightened concerns, Barker raised eyebrows with mysterious images of Glasgow Airport’s prayer room and leaving a Los Angeles hospital. Concurrently, Moakler’s youngest was seen unworried on a TikTok video.

Public sentiment also surrounds Kardashian as news of her pregnancy with Barker emerges.
