Meghan Marklewas spotted on a shopping trip at a US food boutique sporting a unique outfit that featured a subtle tribute to sonArchie Harrison.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, caught the eye with a strapless green Malia Mills jumpsuit, which she wore with an olive sweater, a wide-brimmed Panama hat, sunglasses and sandals.
But it was her jewellery that seemed to pay homage to her andPrince Harry’s three-year-old son.
The formerroyalwas pictured wearing Logan Hollowell's baby queen water drop emerald necklace, which costs around £3,000.
The necklace would appear to be a clear tribute to son Archie – who was born in May, making his gem birthstone an emerald.
Logan Hollowell’s website says of the necklace: “Emerald is a stone that is used to bring forth manifestation in the form of prosperity and abundance. It is used for intuitive awareness, meditation, and spirituality.
“This classic stone of love and romance, is said to bring both passion, and unconditional love, bringing balance within relationships, as well as friendship. In the event of heartbreak, emerald is used to heal and put one back on the path to love.
“Emerald brings and enhances harmony, joy, memory, and faith. It also benefits intellect, communication, decision making, and promotes truthfulness and honesty, seeing past the superficial.”
It is not the first time Meghan has paid tribute to her children through her choice of jewellery.
The first time she was seen following the birth of daughter Lilibet last year, she wore a silver necklace that resembled both of her children’s star signs.
Archie was born on 6 May 2019, making him Taurus, while Lilibet was born on 4 June 2021 – meaning she is Gemini.
Meghan was photographed enjoying the shopping trip with her friend at the Pierre La Fond store in Montecito, California, last week amid a busy period for her and husband Harry.
Meghan’s Spotifty podcast has been grabbing headlines – particularly over her comments on how working as a briefcase girl onDeal or No Deal left her feeling “objectified” and “not smart”.
And it has also been revealed thatHarry’s new unflinching memoir Spare will be published on 10 January next year.
Publishers Penguin Random House have confirmed the release date of the tell-all book, saying it will take "readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. "
The provocative title is no doubt a reference to the saying "heir and the spare", referring to his brother Prince William, 40, being the heir to the British throne, and Harry, 38, being the "spare" prince.
