Michelle Keegan and husband Mark Wright to be separated again after her UK return

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright are reportedly set to continue their long-distance relationship, as the actress has signed up for a new role away from their home in Essex.

Michelle, 35, is said to be travelling up North as she returns to play Erin Croft in the new series of Sky’s Brassic, after she completes filming BBC drama Ten Pound Poms in Australia.

Meanwhile Mark, 35, will continue to put all his focus in the couple’s £3.5million mansion, which is under renovation, as his wife gets straight back into work.

A source has claimed the pair aren’t fazed at being separated again, as they’ve “made it work so many times before”.

A TV insider told The Sun: “Michelle is going pretty much straight into filming a new Brassic when she gets back.

"She is a hugely in demand actress, so she’s ended up having to work on two massive shows back to back.

"She can’t wait to be in the UK and close to all her loved ones again but settling into the new home will have to wait as work comes first."

The report of Michelle’s new gig comes after the couple recently reunited after two months apart, as Mark jetted to Australia to spend quality time with Michelle in between her filming.

This week, the couple were seen enjoying a day out together in Sydney, as they shopped near Bondi Beach, and looked happy to be back with each other after being separated for several weeks.

Michelle and Mark, have gotten used to working long distances from each other throughout their seven-year marriage, after Mark hosted US show Extra in Los Angeles, and Michelle has worked on dramas in various global locations.

The couple have remained supportive of each other’s careers, despite constantly being separated, as Mark shared last year.

The star said: "I’m extremely proud. I feel very lucky. The one thing I’ll say. I’m not arrogant or confident about any kind of talent because I can’t sing to save my life.

“I can’t act; like my wife’s a born actress and is incredible at what she does. I can’t do that.

"I took a long long time to learn how to present TV, a long time to learn how to present radio. The one thing I will be arrogant about and confident about is I’ll always be the hardest working man in the room."
