Michelle McManus unrecognisable with orange hair makeover as she parties with Rylan

Michelle McManus looked worlds apart from her time on Pop Idol in 2003 as she showcased her bright orange tresses.

Michelle, 42, won Pop Idol almost two decades ago and reached the top of the charts with her debut single All This Time.

The singer met up with Rylan, 33, in her native home town of Glasgow, Scotland, as the This Morning star continued to plug his new book titled Ten: The Decade that Changed My Future.

Posing for a snap on Rylan’s Instagram, he labelled Michelle as an “icon”.

In an all black ensemble, Rylan gave off MI5 vibes while Michelle wore a gorgeous black dress with metallic detailing and bright pink pointed shoes.

Rylan went on to share a clip of him singing Michelle’s hit song with her on stage, much to the crowd’s excitement.

He captioned the video: “The best night celebrating #RylanTen in Glasgow. Love you Michelle x”.

Rylan’s 1.6 million Instagram followers were equally as excited, and we quick to gush over the pair’s performance.

“This is the best thing I’ve seen all day!!!!!!!!!” said one fan, as someone else wrote: “I love this!!”

“Oh my gosh”, penned another. “I am thrown back to being 10 years old and I’m so happy about it! Hey Michelle!”

“2 icons,” gushed another fan, as someone else branded the pair as “brilliant”.

Rylan’s explosive new book hit shelves last month, and the former X Factor star shared a series of bombshell revelations – including about his divorce to ex Dan Neal.

In one segment of the memoir, the 33 year old shared the reason they never reconciled.

The book reveals that Rylan cheated on Dan “years ago” but only told him in 2021, which caused the former police officer to walk out on their six year marriage.

While the pair did attempt to give their relationship another go, Dan ultimately left again after just two weeks.

Rylan writes: “It still keeps playing on my mind why he didn’t want to work to fix what we had. Well, unfortunately/fortunately, I found my answers.

“I won’t go into any more detail about what happened. I can’t bear to, but we both know the truth.”

He says that despite the heartache he felt at the time, Rylan no longer feels that he dropped a bombshell and ruined his “supposedly” perfect life.

Adding that in the end, he believes he ultimately saved himself, although he didn’t quite realise it back then.
