Millie Mackintosh says breast enhancement is boost of confidence since having 2 daughters

Millie Mackintosh has revealed the reasons for her breast enhancement and said it is the "best thing she's done for herself" since becoming a mum.

The former Made in Chelsea star, 33 shares two daughters, Sienna, two, and Aurelia, 18 months with husband Hugo Taylor, 37 who she first started dating during their time on the reality TV show.

During a candid Instagram Q&A session on Thursday Millie opened up about her recent breast enhancement and explained that after breastfeeding both her children she didn't feel like herself but the procedure gave her a "boost of confidence".

When answering a fan's question about her breast surgery on Instagram she responded: "It was something that I had always wanted to do, since being about 18. When I realised that the breasts I had always dreamed of weren't going to show up for me.

"I thought okay, 'I can work with what I've got' and I wore padded bras and I made peace with that.

"When I was in my twenties and I was on the pill, they were a B, but quite perky and then after breastfeeding both of the girls the skin just got so stretched."

The mum-of-two continued: "When I was breastfeeding they were enormous and when I was pregnant as well.

"Then what I was left with afterwards was a completely different, deflated, empty sack of skin that just did not make me feel like me anymore.

"Honestly for me, this has been the best thing that I have done for myself.

"I had my surgery just before Mother's Day and it just felt like a lovely present to myself to make me feel like me again.

"It's given me a boost of confidence. I've really enjoyed wearing swimwear again this summer and it definitely made me feel much freer.

"I've found confidence in my body again and it was just something I did for myself as a kind of reward for having babies."

In May this year, the former TV star addressed claims from trolls that she had a "secret boob job" and revealed she had a breast enhancement three months prior.

She went on to share that she was "thrilled" with the results and had "no intention" of hiding her recent surgery.

Following the comments from trolls, Millie said at the time: "I was under no illusion it would go unnoticed, and I had no intention of concealing the choice I had made, with the full support of my family and after a lot of research.

"Being in the public eye is a double-edged sword! No matter which approach I take – being honest or secretive (and of course getting outed) – someone will always have something to say.

"I personally feel it's more harmful to have tweakments/procedures and then lie and pretend the results are achievable naturally."
