Mrs Hinch’s three year old son Ronnie rushed to A&E: ‘Nothing prepares you’

Mrs Hinch's young son Ronnie has suffered a terrifying health scare.

His mum, 33, whose social media cleaning hacks have transformed her into a phenomenon and even a bestselling author, announced the news via an Instagram Stories statement on Sunday.

The lengthy message to 5 million readers began: "Hello everyone, so sorry for the radio silence over the last week. Everything just seems like fog right now.

"Ron's temp spiked to over 40 and his neck was swelling, limited head movements, I couldn't keep meds or fluids in him. We were taken to A&E and sent home with antibiotics and it just didn't feel right. My gut told me no. So after phoning 111 we were taken back in and thankfully admitted.

"Since having IV antibiotics we are seeing a really really slow improvement but we will be in here for a little longer yet, as we need to get his temperature satisfactory and need the antibiotics to kick in," continued Mrs Hinch.

"Absolutely nothing prepares you for something like this does it. Just being on a children's ward, seeing so many innocent little arms bandaged with cannulas. I just can't comprehend the whole thing. But I just wanted to check in on here very quickly whilst Ron's asleep.

"I share so much of my life on here, the good and the bad, I have a fantastic support network from my followers, so I just wanted to say thank you for so many messages, I haven't vanished I promise [wink emoji]. Enjoy this beautiful sunshine, the fresh air, everything. What I would give to be back home with all my boys. Lots of love to you all and catch up very soon xx.

"Ps Ron smiled away in the ambulance, loved seeing all the buttons and wires and now thinks his cannula is his own little wire of magic. What did we ever do to deserve children. They make this world so beautiful."

This isn't the first time Mrs Hinch has addressed an absence from social media in the last couple of months, as back in April, the mum-of-two confessed she'd been going through a series of "life stumbles" that demanded her full attention.

Her explanation read: "I'm sorry for not being on Instagram as often right this moment, It is only temporary I promise, I do really miss being on here somedays. I'm just going through a few personal life 'stumbles' right now ad have been for the last 3 months. But all is ok and we're getting there. Have a beautiful weekend everyone."

In other news, the influencer blew her fans away with a surprise talent in May by belting out Christina Aguilera tune 'Impossible' on a mate's hen party.

“Omg your voice!!!!", "Mrs Hinch can sing too…. Giiiiiirrrllll is there anything you aren’t good at?" and "I’m sorry but I wasn’t ready for the singing… kept that on the down low didn’t ya! [crying laughing emoji]," read some reactions.
