Neighbours star Delta Goodrem was an absolute vision as she was spotted in a stunning red suit at the glamorous Isle of MTV press conference.
The Australian singer, 38, opted for the striking scarlet ensemble but added a bit of edge with a beautiful silver bra. She kept her red blazer loose and open, allowing the flash of silver to do the talking.
The star kept her long, ombre tresses in loose, wavy tendrils framing her face. She accessorised with silver jewellery, which perfectly complemented the silver bra. Adding further glam to her look, she wore a pair of towering silver heels, adding a few inches to her height.
The former Neighbours actress was all smiles, as she posed for photographs and also took to the stage during the event, which took place in Valletta, Malta on Tuesday (18 July).
Her appearance at the star-studded event follows the announcement of her new single, Back to Your Heart, which will be released on 4 August, as well as her own record label.
Opening up about the song and its creation, the singer told her Instagram followers: “No album or music I have ever made has come together the same way as the last. I have always been inspired by the creation of music, but also the ever changing landscape of the industry.”
She said it was “particularly thrilling to construct” her “own universe with like-minded individuals who have unwavering faith” in her, as she does for them. The star explained she has a string of “projects in the works” – more than ever before, which has surpassed her and her team’s “wildest dreams”, while also challenging her “to think outside the box and evaluate” how she wants to continue to share music with all her fans.
Delta continued: “I would consider myself to be someone who has always run their own race and in these moments it is extremely exciting to be able to set up your own music world! Having ownership of my music in an industry that is constantly evolving is an incredible feeling and fuels my artistry and business ventures.”
Elaborating, she added: “I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards the incredible community that has supported me for over two decades. But times have changed and so have I. It’s a new era, new world, with endless possibilities – so I created a new home for my music. Welcome to ATLED Records.”
Delta has spent most of her life in the spotlight – she signed her first record contract at 15 years old and her debut album, Innocent Eyes, was a number one hit three years later.
Isle of MTV is an annual music festival organised by MTV. It’s a popular fixture in Europe's festival calendar, and has been held in Malta since 2007. It’s previously taken place in Portugal, France, Spain and Italy.
