New Live Action ‘Snow White’ Set Photos Stir Up Controversy – Find Out More Here

Some photos from the set of the upcoming live action Snow White made their way online on Friday (July 14) and there was quite the reaction to them.

While the pics did not feature any stars, including Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot or Andrew Burnap, they did show a double dressed as Snow White, along with what appears to be her seven “Dwarfs” and a stand in for the male lead.

However, they drew controversy as the seven “Dwarfs” were far from actual actors with Dwarfism, which doesn’t come as a surprise, since Disney has previously stated that they were taking a different approach to those seven characters.

Daily Mail published the photos from re-shoots, which were reportedly taken on Thursday (July 13) in Bedfordshire, England, featuring a diverse group of seven actors who are either portraying the characters, or are stand-ins as well.

Previously, Disney responded to the photos, telling The Daily Beast that they are “fake and not from our production.” However, later on Friday, they backtracked and said the photos were from the production but were not “official photos.”

The actress/stand-in portraying Snow White in the photos could be seen wearing the same costume that Rachel was initially spotted wearing in May 2022 during filming.

Conservative media figures like Tomi Lahren and Robby Starbuck have led the uproar on Twitter, calling Disney a “joke” and “ridiculous” for making this change.
