Olivia and Alex Bowen have been struck down with an unfortunate case of food poisoning, two weeks after they welcomed their baby boy Abel.
Olivia, 28, shared the health update as she posted a snapshot of herself cuddling her son in bed on Instagram Stories.
She wrote: “Last couple days have been interesting. Alex had food poisoning on Monday & then I woke up yesterday with the same so ill, looking after a baby & being ill is different level isn’t it!
“Abel didn’t sleep great last night so I’m a liiiiil tired today, but he’s still cute as a button so we allow it haha. Hope everyone is ok.”
The couple's bout of food poisoning comes after they recently went on their first outing with baby Abel following his arrival.
Olivia described the experience as “scary” and “tiring”, although she added that it was “super cute" at the same time.
“Wow going out for the first time is tiring," she shared with followers.
"We got home & was so knackered we're now hibernating in the lounge where it's cool. Abel was such a good boy though he just had a feed & then chilled whilst we had lunch at the pub.
"We wanted to get out asap as I knew I would be nervous, and I hate to build things up. It was super cute but I'm happy to be back home in our bubble.”
The new mum revealed the first glimpse of her son’s new nursery back in April.
Olivia made sure to spoil her first child shared with husband Alex with his room and showcased the impressive results after having worked on it at their Essex mansion since announcing her pregnancy back in January.
The nursery was shown to be decorated in gender-neutral colours of cream and beige and displayed wooden flooring, with walls adorned with illustrations of giraffes and palm trees.
A wildlife theme appeared to take over the room as the ceiling was shown to be painted like the sky and featured more illustrations of birds, butterflies and clouds.
Olivia spoke about the nursery ahead of her son’s arrival, saying on Instagram: “His nursery waiting for him when he’s ready.
“It’s been so nice to have this in the background, I’ve loved absolutely every minute of it & the final finishing touches of the nursery furniture arrived.”
