Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards stunned fans this week after resharing images of herself cosplaying as Ursula the sea witch from The Little Mermaid.
Anna Lingis-Zavros, a UK-based makeup artist with over 150k followers on Instagram, took to the social media platform back in 2018 to showcase Perrie in a gorgeous makeup look that must have taken hours to perfect.
Now, in 2022, Perrie has reshared the image to her story, sending fans back to the post to obsess over.
She captioned the gorgeous post: “Super blessed that I got to turn my gorgeous girl @perrieedwards into this super sexy #Ursula – isn’t she unreal?!”
The images show Perrie, 29, posing against a white backdrop as she’s covered in purple body paint to mimic the skin of Ursula from the 1989 Disney classic.
Anna used lines and shadows to create makeup that looks almost like the cartoon original, complete with icy white contact lenses and an accompanying crown.
Fans gushed over Perrie, and Anna’s talent, in the comments, with one writing: “That’s amazing!”
“Love it you rock Ursula @perrieedwards,” another said.
A third added: “She’s unreal" and the post has since received over 23k likes.
Perrie, who was a member of Little Mix alongside Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, was recently burgled while she was at home with her son, Axel, and her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
As reported in The Sun, Perrie, and Alex were at home with their 13 month old son when a “brazen” thief stole “a lot of valuable items.”
A source told the newspaper: “It's just the most violating thing to think that someone has been all over their belongings before they even realised what was happening is so upsetting.
“The brazenness of doing it while they were in the house is terrifying, and obviously they're heartbroken that a lot of valuable items which meant a great deal to them, not just financially, have been taken.
“This is their dream home and they love their life there as a family. Suddenly it feels tarnished, but they're determined to get on with their lives.”
At the time, a spokesperson for Cheshire police said: “The offenders have broken into the home stealing jewellery and handbags while the occupants were inside.”
A neighbour of the couple, who began dating in 2016, also commented on the burglary, saying it’s a "real worry.”
They said: “This latest break-in is a real worry. This is a very quiet street and lots of residents have very good security, so it is quite frightening these thugs still feel comfortable enough to break in — especially when people are in. It must have been terrifying."
