Peter Andre reveals special experience that he treasures with kids Millie and Theo

It's clear how much Peter Andre loves spending his time with his children, and he has now revealed the one thing he loves to do with his kids is to read bedtime stories together.

Pete, 50, revealed it is a "special experience" he treasures with his youngest kids Millie, nine, and six year old Theo – whom he shares with his wife Emily, 33.

Speaking on Instagram in a new video, he shared: "Hi, it's Peter Andre here. Reading bedtime stories is a special experience I treasure and I will always treasure it – and that's why I'm so thrilled that a story I wrote for my youngest two is being made into a picture book."

Pointing to his new book behind him, he continued: "It's right behind me. It's called Super Space Kids.

"It's a funny adventure between two kids called Millie and Theo, which of course are my two children's names.

"They have to save a planet that is all grey and miserable and bring the colour and joy back."

Many fans rushed to congratulate the star on his new book, with one writing: "Oh brilliant! good luck Peter."

"My boy is going to love this book," another shared, while a third commented: "Oooo I must buy this for my grandchildren."

Katie Kear, who illustrated Pete's book, wrote: "It was such a pleasure illustrating your fantastic story! Can’t wait to see it flying off the shelves."

It comes after Pete gushed over wife Emily as he opened up about his childhood in Australia with his parents, who are Jehovah's Witnesses.

Pete said after meeting Emily, she helped him to find "the simple part" of himself again after rising to fame.

Speaking to The Times, he said: "She's smart and sensible and organised, and she makes me see things very differently. She has made me be like I was when I was really young."

He explained: "I sort of went into this crazy life from my late teens to 40 and then all of a sudden she has brought out the simple part of me again."

Peter continued to reflect on his childhood, telling readers that their dining table is a "no phones zone" and screen time is only allowed at home on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The singer – who is also father to Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, with ex Katie Price – previously spoke of how he is trying to limit his children using screens in his column.

He shared: "We have really cut down on the kids’ screen time lately and it has made them so much more creative.

"As soon as the iPad isn’t an option, they start doing other stuff like dressing up in superhero outfits or just good ol’ fashioned playing, it’s lovely to see."
