Princess Eugenie showed her maternal side during a visit to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where she went for an operation as a child.
The pregnant Royal, whose cousin Prince William was also out doing visits in Wales today, became emotional as she spoke to some of the children staying in care at the medical centre in Stanmore, Middlesex on February 28, as she went under the knife with scoliosis as a youngster.
Eugenie, 32, was visiting the hospital as its own charity was gearing up to launch its Impossible, Possible campaign in the Prosthetic Rehabilitation Unit.
Prince Andrew's daughter had the opportunity to visit the unit for the first time to see where the prosthetics were made.
During her visit, the mum-of-one, who already shares son August with her husband Jack Brooksbank, spent some time playing with a little girl called Posie Aurora Sadler-Smith.
The duo enjoyed a role play game with the children's kitchen set, which featuring pretend cups, a teapot and even food items such as pizza.
Eugenie got down on her knees and enjoyed playing with stickers too, as she was all smiles for the sweet moment.
Posie looked thrilled to have the attention of the princess as she wore her own pink tulle princess-style dress for the occasion, complete with a bejewelled collar.
Eugenie meanwhile, opted for a striking houndstooth coat and black dress underneath, as she hid her growing baby bump from view.
The Royal chose black leather boots, and styled her auburn locks in a loose natural style, with a smattering of makeup for the occasion to add to her already-glowing skin.
Eugenie was admitted to the hospital at just 12 years old to correct her scoliosis, which means curvature of the spine.
"I am delighted to be here today to once again see the life-changing work taking place at the hospital," the royal said during her visit.
"This is a charity which is very close to my heart.
"After everything I went through as a child with scoliosis, I know from my own experience how debilitating an orthopaedic condition can be.
"It has been inspirational to meet those here today who have benefitted from the expertise of the hospital's staff and services and hear first-hand how truly life-changing this has been for them, as it was for me when I was a child," the royal went on.
Eugenie also added that the charity is "integral" to delivering "such stellar care" for its patients.
The royal announced she was expecting her second child with husband Jack earlier this year, with a sweet post on her Instagram page showing how excited August was to be a big brother.
